INFORMASI PERUSAHAAN
The Forest Trust
(TFT) (formerly the Tropical Forest Trust) is a global environmental charity[1]
that helps companies run responsible supply chains. Working predominately in
palm oil, pulp and paper and timber, TFT works at the point of raw material
extraction (forest, plantation, quarry), through to production in mills and
factories to ensure products are traceable throughout the supply chain and that
people and environment are respected. The majority of the organisation's staff
are field-based, working with plantation and factory staff and owners. TFT’s
business support teams work with buyers/procurement teams and senior management
and their supply chain partners to understand what they can do to source
products more responsibly.

Qualifications

Graduate/Master degree in Social Sciences or any related field

Several years experiences in social field works,preferably in
participatory approach and conflict resolution.

Social Specialist
The Social
Specialist will be a member of the TFT Team Work, and focus on social issues
related to Forest, Mills and Palm Oil Estate Management in Indonesia.
The Ideal Candidate is comfortable at training Company Staff (both at HQ level and Field level) on implementation of Free, Prior, Informed Consent (FPIC), Conflict Prevention, Conflict Resolution, and Development of Social Management Plans. Strong writing skills are also required as the position will involve writing reports and proposals for TFT Business and Donor Clients.
The Social Specialist will also be expected to support the management of stakeholder relations between TFT and Indonesia NGOs. Strong speaking and writing skills in Bahasa Indonesia an English is a plus.
TFT offers competitive compensation package and benefits, including medical program, insurance, 25 days of annual paid leave and other leaves. Salary depends on skills and experience.
